A2 Jake Duros-----Mr. Anderson
This is pretty much what my grandpa wrote to me after i sent it to him in Europe. No picture because I forgot to tell him and he's having surgery right now.
1. Your Geo Gnome is in Slovakia at the geographical center of Europe with its Capital Bratislava on the Danube river, see http://www.slovakia.org/
2. The climate of Slovakia is temperate with cool summers and cold, cloudy, humid winters
3. Cabbage (in every variety), potatoes, pork and chicken are the basic ingredients of Slovak cuisine. Small potato dumplings with sheep cheese is the most popular and traditional dish
4. There is a good net of public transport almost in every bigger town (trams, buses, trolleybuses lines), also a good net of trains and buses across the country, roads are fair but overcrowded, only few speedways
5. Sorry, I don´t know what the Slovak people believe in, but if you mean religion, more than two thirds declared their affiliation to the Roman-Catholic Church, Evangelic and Reformed Christian Church are 10 percent, and 13 percent are churchless
